This is a mismatch, Canelo still has the horror of his sparring sessions with Golovkin in mind. Golovkin is gonna KO the Mexican in less than 4 rounds!

You say mis match, but if Canelo didn't fight GGG and fought another MW would you say he's ducking the fight as well?

They sparred multiple times in 2011 and I believe once in 10 or 12. There was zero mismatches, they BOTH got great work and OBVIOUSLY held off knowing one day not too far they could be competing.

Enough with all the pathetic LYING, total bull**** helps NO ONE, especially the troll itself

It's the same reason why Wilder will not even mention the idea of fighting either Klitschko or David Haye after what happened to him when he went to train with them.

Even now he isn't willing to wait to hear what Wlad will decide to do, before securing a fight with a cruiserweight.

Sparring leaves scars on those who get punished!

I'm pretty sure Canelo was campaigning at WW at the time they had their sparring session. They were a couple divisions apart at the time, and the difference in experience was drastic.

Alvarez was only 21 and hadn't fought anyone of note up to that point in his career. Gennady was arguably in the peak of his prime in 2011 (unfortunately he turned pro a bit too late and wasn't a known commodity at that time either.)

Anyway, you can't put much stock into a sparring session.

All we know is they will both be a bit slower now and more experienced but the outcome will be the same. GGG will punish him. Canelo was getting tagged and hurt with the earmuffs on with chavez and chavez hardly threw anything.

I've given up on trying to understand what do these people gain from downplaying opposition of their favorite fighters. If anything, they should be doing the opposite cuz' then their idols would seem greater if they win.

Now I might be called a hypocrite here but I will keep laughing about Wilder anyway.
