Dude is slow as hell. Has no speed. No reflexes. No legs. Diminished work rate. No upper body movement. Cuz he's 40. Ain't nothing you can do about it. Father time always wins.

But with age comes "old man strength". The type of strength of that comes as you approach 35+. For some reason it's normal for the human body to continue building raw strength long after your athleticism has left you. Ali got it against Foreman. Marquez got it. Beterbiev is dominating currently with it. Hopkins used it forever. For some reason once a fighter gets old they often times get strong as hell.

So **** it, it's a fight, Golovkin has no shot winning a decision against Canelo at 40. Just go in there and throw absolute nukes. **** the jab. Just start throwing bombs. Maybe he gets lucky and you land a huge shot or a massive combo and he hurts Canelo bad and finishes him.

I bet GGG's late father even at 69 years of age was as strong as an ox and had the grip of a gorilla when he shook your hand

I can tell this just from experience and what my eyes tell me from looking at this picture

Agree, Golovkin should forget about trying to win a decision. He should go in there Marquez-Pacquiao 4 style and push for the KO from the very first second of the fight, until he either knocks Canelo out or gets knocked out himself.

Normally fighters get war torn, legs go which is ggg's biggest issue

Some become battle hardened real tough with age. Foreman became almost unstoppable same with Ali.

Think Fury might get it and Joe Joyce.

GGG threw 629 punches and landed 257 in less than 9 complete rounds at 41%,he also landed 150 power punches of 321 thrown which is 47% landed, why do you say he has a diminished punch out put?

Absolutely. Canelo can be baited into a war too, because he wants to prove his machismo to the fans.
GGG needs to think like Andy Lee did about the Golovkin fight, prepare for a 5 round war, go for the finish. If it doesn't work, Golovkin has the will to make it to the end anyway.
It's probably his last fight, so just go for it.

Is this meant to be serious? So you believe you get some magic strength from somewhere when your natural testosterone levels are getting low? Why doesn’t that happen in any other sport then?
You’re confusing getting heavier with getting stronger, or not draining with getting stronger. Ali was bigger against Foreman. Marquez started lifting heavy weights for the final Pac fight. Beterbiev has always been freakishly strong. Hopkins got stronger at light heavyweight from lifting weights and because he stopped jogging every morning and draining for every fight.
No one gets old man strength because that doesn’t exist. Golovkin is more muscular now because he hired a nutritionist after he left Sanchez. I’ve also never seen him get backed up like he did against Murata, so he didn’t look stronger to me.

I think that 'going for it' is exactly what GGG will do.

Obviously he won't discard his jab, because that is his ATG weapon. But I think he will use the jab to get into range, close Canelo down and engage in a short range slugfest with him. Fighting at short range minimizes Canelo's speed edge and his ability to counter well. Canelo doesn't really have the footwork to keep Golovkin at range either, even if he wanted to. But I don't think Canelo will try to stick and move. He's looking massively stronger himself, and I think he'll go in there with the idea of knocking Golovkin's block off.

I said it before: expect WW1 in the mud and shell holes for GGG / Canelo 3.
