PPV in the UK and that was the numbers being compared. It reeks of desperation but it's fun to see.

I guess the 51,000 fans cheering Canelo were Irish then? Canelo probably made more money at the gate than GGG did for his U.S. ppv. LOL

The gyms around here are about 60% Hispanic fighters & fans It would be difficult to find any one of them that would cheer for Canelo, Theyre embarrassed by the way he's acted when he claims he's a proud Mexican Warrior LOL

FFS I would hope Mexicans would know Canelo more than some Khazak mother ****er who just started fighting in North America a few years ago. You say this like it's some huge dig to Golovkin.

Around where? I'm from L.A. and the vast Majority of Casuals don't even know the politics of what is going on and vaguely know who GGG is. Casuals don't pay attention to that.

Well last Saturday Texas represented well and proved to love Canelo, so he must be talking about some swampy ass town in MS.

I agree, almost no one wants to fight him. Even IF he moved up and beat Ward he wouldn't be a big a draw as Canelo. Really the best he can hope for is waiting for Canelo and in the meantime fighting guys like Jacobs and Saunders.

It would be a breath of fresh air to see Golovkin compromise something to get himself a good fight.

Maybe, we were a little hasty in anointing Canelo as the next pay per view king. Did Trinidad's numbers fall off after Hopkins knocked him out? He was probably riding high after the De La Hoya and Whitaker fights, sort of like Canelo after Mayweather and Cotto boosted his profile. He got some paydays against good but not great fighters and then Hopkins leveled him and stole all his thunder.
