    No. But avenging a dubious result against one of your best opponents is a step in the right direction.

    GG needs this win more than Canelo does. Canelo has year's left to add to an already deep resume, GG doesn't! Canelo could live with a legit loss to GG, it would damage GG if he lost tho! Canelo has beat
    Cotto, pushed GG close, Chavez etc at MW.. Lara, Trout, Mosley etc @ 154.. Plus he's naturally smaller stature wise so losing to the best MW of his era wouldn't hugely damage him! GGs boxing career has been leading up to this fight, it's a signature fight, legacy fight, if he lost it would hurt him!!

    Jacobs is decent but he's never going to be an ATG or HOFer, not even close IMO so that is not a great win for GG. Canelo draw was BS but fact is it was a draw & he needs to seal the deal with Canelo or there will always be question marks...

    He cannot end his career losing to Canelo!
