Quillin, Jacobs, Lee and Lemieux are trying to avoid GGG and in a few years they might “rule” the division once Golovkin has left the division. GGG gets criticize of his opponents, but only time will proof is critics are right. In other words, will GGG former opponents turn out to be too much for those aforementioned duckers.

Proksa: Proksa got beaten really bad and he hasn´t look the same aggressive and exciting fighter he once was. He was Ring´s #10 rated MW at the time. He won´t became title contender anytime soon.

Rosado: He gave GGG one of the hardest fight to date. Rosado’s corner threw in the towel to save him at 8rd. Rosado showed his potential but the cuts he got have troubled him ever since. He was The Ring’s #9 rated MW. If he regroups and gives his face the time needed to heal he might get a new chance. He should rematch with Quillin and I give him also a good chance against Jacobs and Lee.

Macklin: At the time Macklin was Ring Magazine's #5 rated MW. He is getting older very fast and does not look a title contender anymore. Next fight will tell if he can still became a title contender for one last time. I don´t see him winning any of those aforementioned duckers.

Stevens: He got a really bad beating at the hands of GGG but he looked ok in his next fights. At the time he was rated Ring's #9 MW. He lost his next big fight to N´Dam but he still looks a guy who can win title if matched right – he still has the power and toughness to beat anyone at MW not named GGG.

Adama: Former contender gave it all but got beaten very bad. He is still a contender if he regroups but he won´t win titles, that’s for sure.

Geale: At the time he was rated #4 by The ring (Ring top 5 since 2010). He was a former unified and 3 time Middleweight Champion having won the IBF, WBA and IBO Middleweight World Titles. He didn´t get too much punishment but got beaten by Cotto in 2015. My bet is that he will fight for titles because of his name but he won´t win any anytime soon, if ever again.

Rubio: I have never rated Rubio very high but he has couple of good wins on his record. Still, I guess his nationality has brought him this far. Can´t see him getting new title opportunities.

Murray: Actual linear MW champion at the time. He got beaten but he looks to have his career back on track at 168. He will fight for the belt at 168 in 1-2 years from now. He might have a chance to face Quillin if Quillin moves up but probably we won´t see him against other MW contenders.

Monroe: He took the fight a bit too soon and got beaten bad. He is still very young and slick contender and will get a new chance eventually. He has all the tools to beat Quillin, Lee and Jacobs if he continues to progress. If I were him, I would avoid Lemieux and other power punchers.
