Not sure I'm sold on GGG's story that he lets opponents hang around just to give the fans a better show. It looked to me like he was going all out for the stoppage after he sparked Monroe the first time.

Golovkin is a terrific fighter, but also extremely professional. It would be out of character for him to take unnecessary punishment just for our entertainment.

Monroe is a crafty fighter and he deserves credit for the successes he had in the fight.
Even though he was clearly outgunned by a more powerful opponent, I don't believe he was given anything for free.

I felt the same. It seemed that he was practising his inside fighting skills for couple of rounds.

Very true. A cat targets a mouse as a target to play with and ends up killing him without really know how or why. The same scenario is going on here in a Boxing ring, Golovkin is toying with tomato cans and inevitably knocks them out senseless.
