Golovkin purposely pronlonging stevens beatdown was scary

    Golovkin "Yes max I feel I can beat him after I knock him down but I wanted to punish him beat him beat beat him for me that was more important he has big mouth"

    He purposely held back just enough from knocking him out but also just enough to hurt him badly it was beautiful to watch

    With the knockdown Golovkin showed stevens he could have him out any time he wanted but he did not want that he wanted to beat him down slowly

    I dunno. Golovkin was a little wary of Stevens' power to go all out. Maybe he could have tried to blast him out but with guys like Stevens you never know, they can blast you out with one punch. GGG was the far superior boxer ... why take needless risks?

    You could clearly see Golovkin didn't just want to end it quick he wanted to beat on him its no confidence he knocked him down with a left hook and it never even landed cleanly it looked like stevens saw god

    He knocked him down to show he could knock him out if he wanted he just played with the guy and beat on him he even admitted it on the face off against david

    He didn't stop him immediately because he couldn't.
    Curtis went into a shell and Golovkin had to spend his
    time softening him up. It wasn't sadistic or for punishment.
    That's what all fighters do. smh

    I think we're about to see a heinous Lemieux style beating.

    GGG had a more competitive fight with a 6'0" 180lbs+, athletic middleweight who was fighting off the back fought and utilizing lots of movement while looking for counters.

    shorter men recieve beatings from GGG and get ramrodded with the job.
