Golovkin ready to fight Martinez (Video)

My impression is he took it easy on Canelo, they've had a couple training camps together last year. Never heard about GGG & Quillin before, but not suprised. Golovkin trains in Big Bear with Sanchez, so he sees alot of fighters pass through, which probably has been his greatest setback because nobody wants to fight him for low money.


Whatever happen to Golovkin vs. Sergio Mora? Steve Kim said Mora agreed to terms? I hate the idea the GGG won't fight again til July under Wlad.

 

I thought the Mora fight was done?

However, from a german boxing site that likes to overstate everything: HBO wants Martinez vs the winner of Sturm/Zbik. That winner will meet Pirog/Geale. Golovkin misses out again?
FWIW.

 

Honestly I think all it would take for Golovkin to get a shot with either Martinez or Chavez is for him to take an ESPN fight with a Elvin Ayala or Brian Vera and then an HBO fight with Lara or Carlos Molina.
