Sounds like DLH is tired of life, or maybe he had one too many at the pub. Not a good idea at this stage. Prime DLH, a different story.

This would surely be an epic "cherry pick" by the standards of some on here, no?

Oscar did not look very good the other night while talking to Hopkins.................I hope he does not try to make a comeback. Oscar was the only American boxer who won the gold medal back in 1992...................he was good, but that was then.......................

There is NO WAY GGG would fight De La Hoya.
    It would ruin his credibility.

GGG and Loeffler clearly know better than to take the thought of this fight seriously.

They would definitely take the fight, and I don't think it would ruin his credibility.

Boxing has had guys come out of retirement to take big fights before. Cant say I would be particularly hyped about the match, but I'd probably watch it anyway.

Dont see how GGG's credibility could suffer at all for taking it, Oscar is retired not a novice. In fact if Oscar doesnt throw DL his way.. who is Golovkin even supposed to fight. I know some people will say a Haymon guy, but good luck with that.

Bradley? Heiland? Johnson? When you think about the guys that would be available, and willing to take the fight... Oscar doesnt really sound so bad.

Every time I think theres no way it can happen, I remember that Oscar, for all his peculiarities, has 10x bigger heuvos than pretty much any current gen fighter.

    It makes me sad.

You dont think the #1 guy at MW fighting a guy who was considered washed up 7 years and who was last seen getting destroyed by a guy who just jumped up from LW would hurt his credibility??

It would be like Andre Ward fighting Joe Calzaghe in his next fight!

Not a fair comparison, Zaggers would embarrass Ward even retired for years.

Heiland and Johnson would be 10x more credible opponents at the moment than Oscar
