    Golovkin recently passed Arthur Abraham to become the 5th longest TITLE HOLDER in the history of the middleweight division with almost 4 years as champ and 10 title defenses.

    Ahead of him are Felix Sturm (5 years, 4 months and 12 defenses), and ATGs like Marvin Hagler (6 years, 7 months and 12 defenses), Carlos Monzón (6 years, 9 months and 14 defenses) and Ole Bernie Popkins with a ridiculous 10 years, 2 months and 20 defenses.

    I don't think very highly of him yet due to his opposition and dislike for his fanatical fanboys, but I have to say he's still pretty damn good and very entertaining to watch.

    Maybe I should've said "Title holder" in both the title and OP instead of just the OP.

    Absolutely not a golovtard, but a fact's a fact. He's had that belt for a long ass time, for what it's worth.

    Hard to say he was WBA champ for when Sturm held the WBA title at the same time.

    Geale will be the first 160 lbs former or current champ he has fought.

    Didn't he only become the true WBA champ when Geale passed up the fight?

    People think I hate on GGG. I don't. I like him, and I don't miss his fights if they are on. I just want to see him step up. I'll be the first to admit that I was wrong once he proves how good he is. Until then, no way. I've given my support to too many hypejobs in the past. He's gonna have to show me.

    You consider Cotto "champ" for seizing the opportunity and beating SHOT Martinez before anybody else got the chance to? Cotto loses to any of the MW titlists, and most of the top contenders btw...
