    Still those are very sad numbers for a country with about 320 million citicens.
    Smaller boxing events in much smaller countries regularly do bigger numbers as that.

    But for US boxing viewer figures it's pretty good.

    I'm UK but HBO is a premium channel right? How many subscribers does it have?

    One thing I don't know is if you have to be a HBO or Showtime subscriber to buy their respective PPVs?

    Obviously HBO is a cable channel with a limited subscription base of around 28-30 million, 1.3 million would probably be around 5 or 6 million on Network television which is a very good number in todays flooded television sports market place.

    That's great, will mean HBO will push Walters in the future in some co-headliners or Main events.

    Hopefully we'll see Walters vs Lomochenko in 2015.

    True of course, I don't know how many people in the US have HBO, but I guess it's still a pretty big number. Tens of millions I think

    No. Anybody can buy a HBO or Showtime PPV. You don't need a subscription.

    But considering, HBO and Showtime subscribers should get a discounted rate for PPV's. I bet that would get more PPV buys for those that don't want to pay $75.
