Golovkin should base himself in another country like Wladimir did

    Base himself in a country outside the "meeca of baaxing"

    Wlad made a ton of money and had a ton of fans in Germany

    Wouldnt it be in Gennady's best interests to base himself in a country that actually loves him?

    The UK seems perfect for a guy like GGG

    Guy's getting old but has a few huge fights left if he based himself in the UK

    As a Scaatch/Mexican i can tell you more people care and give a damn about GGG in the UK than they do over in the "ach take the test if ya want Danny - i wouldnt recommend it though hu hu hu" States

    His next few fights probably will be, BJS and CEJ are not going to the states to fight him.

    I said this 2 years ago.

    Golovkin will never be a popular boxer in the US Of A for the same reasons Klitscho couldn't.
    US standards are much too high.

    Well i totally disagree with your reasons.... but it seems he should stick the finger to the US and A and base himself in the new mecca of baaxing - the UK

    Believe me, he's revered over here

    Golovkin's only recourse for big money fights is the UK where 50K fans will pay to see Haye Vs Briggs.
    If the UK were the new Mecca of boxing DeGale and Joshua wouldn't be trying so hard to make inroad into the real Mecca, The USA.
    Klitscho couldn't cut it and neither can Golovkin. You have to be special to make it in America.

    Why should a 3 belt Champion and widely regarded as the King of his division have to play B side?

    How DARE Danny get away without being tested

    Best example i can give is watch these two fights

    JMM Pac III
    JMM Pac IV

    Watch the difference in Manny in those two fights

    Thats the difference PEDs make

    **** Jacobs and his false nice guy persona if he's refusing to be tested

    GGG should be based in the UK so he doesnt have to go through with this **** ever again

    He's the King of his division and should be treated and respected as such

    I wouldn't bother. The idea that you have to impress US fans to have 'made it' is very outdated. The world's a big and beautiful place and contrary to what some people in the United States of Trumpland would have people believe the majority of world class fighters come from somewhere else these days.

    Like another poster stated, you have to beat someone to make it big here in America. You don't just become a PPV attraction in America by crushing cans. And, before someone says anything about nationalist bias, I urge you to reference Roberto Duran and Manny Pacquiao.

    Ward was a bigger hit when he came over last month and he wasn't even fighting , just commentating. :meparto:

    Im telling you right now that Ward is more popular over here than GGG.

    Eubank is waiting for GGG to come over so that rules him out of ever returning. :icon_domokun:

    Ouch, what's with the US hate? Boxing, in general, seems to be more popular in the UK right now. Americans need drama, entertainment. I don't understand why people think nationality matters so much, plenty of fighters have gained popularity in the states that were foreign. People here tend to gravitate more towards Pacquiao than Mayweather. And the reason Mayweather sold more? Drama. Ironic.
