As a resident of the United States, I can tell you, Golovkin is pretty popular. Unless I'm missing something...

golovkins lack of progression has nothing to do with where he fights out of or where hes from...it has everything to do with how hes been moved and how he avoided andre ward.....ward/ggg was a logical fight to make....and he avoided it and people have noticed....and they have also looked at his resume.....they arent going to look to hand this guy free money ....its partially the reason oscar is gonna play hardball.......theres some truth to oscar wanting to milk canelo no question.....but oscar also looks at a guy like golovkin who thinks hes bigger than he is with nothing of note to back it up.....

 

Golovkin's arrogance is his problem, I remember when he was asked by a reporter if he would fight on Canelo's under card to build a fight between the two of them and he said no he only fights in the main event. It would be good to see Jacobs stop him and wipe that smirk off his face. Then he would really kick himself for not agreeing to Canelo's terms.
