Maybe sometime in 2017 at 168 by then hopefully GGG is done with 160 im sure ward will take the fight its a big money i still feel this fight can happen.

Ward avoided GGG but hopefully after Kovalev is finished with him he might take the fight this time.

Golovkin has no interest in fighting Ward. None.

Ward is a LHW. He didn't just grow into LHW either as he boxed there as an AM. Fellow LHW Barrera recently said in an interview he did not spar Golovkin while in his camp because Golovkin was too small.

Normally if a fighter needs to move up and fight bigger people it's because they cleaned out their current division, which GGG has not. The other incentive is money and Ward can't even sell out Oakland.

Ward will probably retire after Kovalev.

Why should GGG move up 15lbs?

Why not beat the other top guys at his weight first?

Unless you think he is so great he shouldn't even bother proving himself fully at 160?

Would be great if he did. Would be a competitive fight. GGG would still be able to compete with him in strength and punch harder than him. They'd still be quite close in height and reach and Ward may be slightly slower than he used to be.

Go on GGG take a leaf out Khan's (and Pacquiao, Mayweather, Hopkins, Toney etc) book and go for it.

LOL... and GGG tried SO HARD to make the Ward fight, right? Ward irritates me, but GGG could have done 168 for Ward if he is the boxing god his fans claim he is. Both are to blame.

Ward should fight Adonis. That would be an interesting fight.

Right now Ward's fights are being sold using Kovalev's name.
