Golovkin should give up the money fights because of the mandatories?

That's unfair on the IBF, GGG didn't have to fight on May 5. He could have had a 20 week camp if he wanted. The IBF refused to sanction the Vanessa fight which is understandable considering he has never fought at 160 and is unranked by all of the Orgs

Oh, please, that's not unfair to the IBF. They're not inconvenienced at all.

It may be unfair to SD, however. The IBF will love to get its hands on unification windfalls from Canelo, Saunders. Loeffler feels that they can make more money for both SD and GGG by promoting the fight properly. I don't know if that's the whole truth, but it makes sense.

I suppose that Golovkin could just not fight on the 5th. All the haters would cream themselves in delight. He's kinda screwed either way. I prefer to see him fight.

What a weird post this is. I could sort of see your points right up until you said you want Canelo to win.

How is the overpaid, overhyped protected drugs cheat the guy you want to win over greedy guy who wants to face him? If you'd even said you wanted a double KO I would of understood but the post makes it appear that you would of found a way to hate Golovkin no matter what he did.

GGG is paving the way for a duck by taking this Vanes fight.
He knew well and good if he took it he will most likely get stripped of the IBF.

No IBF = No tough mandatory
No IBF = No undisputed fight with slick Southpaw
No IBF = Money fight with roided midget

GGG will just play the victim card again and use the stripping to weasel his way out of the tough fights.

I have actually changed my tune tbh, I hope the IBF don't strip him and force him to fight Derevyanchenko.

I would like to see how he tries to weasel out of it. I will feel bad for Derevyanchenko having to wait even longer to get his shot though, but he will get it.

Canelo isn't a mandatory, GGG isn't obliged to fight him.
GGG is the bloke who can give him his undeserved shot.
GGG is even worse then Clenelo if he signs up for it.

Canelo has the PEDS, ref and judges. It isn't a secret, GGG understands this. GGG fanatics understand this.
GGG can't claim to be the victim again!!! Give the damn deserving fighters a shot, just like he wanted when he was coming up!!!

I don't want to hear any excuses when the roided midget pummels him, he signed up for it!!!!!!

GGG speaks better English & is easier to understand than Floyd & you can forget about Clenelo he appears as thick as two short planks

Mayweather never defended an IBF belt in his life. He never fought mandos because they were mostly bums like Selcok Adien.
Floyd had no problem dropping belts to go after bigger / better fights. The same can't be said about Golovkey who hid behind mando's when it suited him. Floyd never used the mando excuse so he could pad his record with bums and he probably could have

Why in the world!!! Would you as a fighter risk losing or being injured before a big, big money fight?!!! I dont blame gGG for avoiding any tough fights before the Canelo rematch. You want to go into that fight as fresh as possible. GGGs thread is starting to wear you dont burn out whats left in the tank on lesser fights against tough opponents. If he were in his late 20s then id see it different. Those of you calling for GGG to fight all these top guys my advice to you is dont quit your day jobs because you know jack crap about business.

Bit of an interesting one.. At this stage of his career he is looking for the money fights which is fine but he can't really hold all the belts hostage while doing this..

Ideally fight BJS next then if he wins that he can drop all the belts and go fight his money fights..

Then he can give up the belts if he wants to put the division on hold and freeze out his mandatories. Whats Canelo done at MW to fight for all the belts in the first place? F -all.
Whats his punishment for popping peds and cancelling the rematch? nothing. Everything will be there wailting for him after he serves his ban.
GGG will wait around for him another 6 months while his greed and Canelo's failed tests effects everybody else in the divison.
Your post was an utter disgrace.

I really don't see your logic. Canelo is clearly a dick and if you think Golvkin is too then I'd say fair enough but hoping the protected drugs cheat pummels any opponent is super weird IMO.
