Man you never struck me as a thick poster, but I already tried explaining this to you yesterday. This is just so pig headed wrong in every way.

    1. K2 got the WBA to order NJikam to fight him, forcing NJikam to drop his belt
    2. They got them to put pressure on Sturm, forcing him to unify instead of fighting his mando
    3. Stripped Geale for not defending vs GGG
    4. Got him 2 HBO dates, with another coming up

Where would he be without them, fighting in Panama? What more can they do, threaten other guys' families unless they get in the ring with GGG?

And once again, when he's on HBO its the network that pays the fighters' purses. What they offer is much more than what these contenders are making otherwise, but the risk/reward is still apparently too high.

I think Golovkin should stay at MW if he is comfy there and makes weight safely. Why go to SMW when he can fight at MW? We still dont know for sure how good Golovkin is until he is in with a top opponent

you still have not come up with 1 top 10 guy that'll get in the ring with him on the next available hbo date

Soliman asked for the B sample to be sent to Australia to a WADA approved laboratory. That was about a month ago, haven't heard anything since. They're obviously trying to delay the testing because the IBF will go to purse bids for the Soliman/Geale fight soon.

Moving up or down are equally bad ideas IMO, he should stay where he is and create demand for a fight against one of the other champs.

Yeah I'm starting to think he needs to sign with Arum or Dibella.

How would that change things? HBO is footing the bill either way. Does LDB have some goons he can set off on the top 10 contenders families, to get them to sign a contract?

Or are you saying he'd be more willing to put his guys in with him? That does make some sense. However I doubt TR would be more eager to match him with Chavez if he was in their stable, it's the Juanma Gamboa situation.

He should go first after a same type opponent in the MW division, then after a top fighter from there like Chavez Jr or Martinez! Then he can go to the SMW where is the real competition.

Soliman said that the stuff wich was found in his blood was legal by IBF standards and is only not legal in germany. Strange thing was when you look at the IBF rules the stuff wich was found in his blood is also forbidden by IBF standards.
The german lab claims that they found a very modern drug in his blood.

HBO is getting pimped by Arum since they dropped GBP. If GGG signs with Top Rank he'll get plenty of dates and higher purses, might even see him on a Pacquiao co-main event. If he signs with Dibella he'll get Macklin for sure, maybe Taylor. He

HBO is just as open to working with K2 as Top Rank, they'd rather not rely on a single promoter exclusively. He has had 0 issues getting on HBO, shortly after signing with K2. So I don't see a problem, they've done amazing by him.

Think back when Greenburg was in charge, would you expect to see a guy like him on HBO 3 times in 8 months? Each time he was featured they approached better guys, nobody wanted a piece of it.

But don't you think he'd be in a better position with the network if he was promoted by TR? For example they rejected Vera in January and GGG had to fight Rosado, probably because Rosado is more known and has been fighting on NBC, even though Vera is the better opponent at 160. I think if GGG signs with TR, HBO will accept any opponent, they're eating out of Arum's hands right now.

HBO already turned down Oosthuizzenone before so why would they approve him now let alone Balzsay or Stelglitz? They also turned down Vera from what I understand and the fight is basially set to be Rubio.

The only 168ob fighter of interest would be Dirrell and he has as much chance of taking a fight with Golovkin as Geale or any other middleweight of consequence.

I really don't think you can expect more than 3 dates in 8 months, nobody gets more. And out of nowhere, he was a replacement for Geale vs Pirog. They're smitten with him, which is amazing to me considering he's got 0 selling power in the US beyond his style.

I don't think they turned Tommy down cause they don't like the fight (tho they might prefer G staying at 160). It's mostly that the undercard budget for the January show couldn't fit 2 guys that sell no tickets, but are big time prospects expecting more than token compensation.
