Golovkin "Sometimes i want crazy fight because if you look great everytime no one wants to fight you

probably because most ggg fans have an iq about 30 points higher than the average ggg hater. they just see more.

 

You sound like a Mayweather fan right now. Imo, it looked like Golovkin tried to box early and was getting outboxed, then proceeded to impose his size and will.

I like Golovkin, that's just what I saw. I don't believe he allowed Brook to get hits in like he did Monroe.

If I, at 240 lbs ran up on Golovkin, or Mayweather and laid into them with a haymaker punch , for certain they won't be acting like it didn't hurt. I have been hit by smaller men in the right place and felt it for days. All that ,"I let him hit me",talk is for the press.

 

Where is GGG being Arrogant ?? What he says is true. You dont hear him bad mouth opponents or ridicule them, Hope its a good fight with the best man on the night getting the win

 

GGG did not let Brook hit him. However he was willing to exchange with him. Take hit to give a hit mentality similar to Marciano or Frasier. He felt he could take Brooks power while doing damage to him. Everyone says Brook exposed GGG. The guy supposedly who exposed GGG had a broken eye socket. Was getting whiped and taking heavy damage in the fifth round. Probably would not have lasted the 5th but his own corner protected him. While GGG ate the big hits Brook gave him and just kept coming at him. If that is the best someone who has done against him and they almost had a career ending injury then that just shows how dominant GGG is.

Ggg was lifting Brook off the ground with those body punches and then let off the accelerator. It was pretty clear Ggg was toying with him. He didn't want to end Brook in 1 round. He wanted to put on a show and he delivered.

 

Pac has let guys go at him, begging them to hit him even, perhaps why is to engage the fans. Maybe he likes the punishment, probably does.

 

ggg didnt look bad he destroyed brook...hiting a good, fast and big welterweight at will.

 

He didn't look bad against Brook. That was the matchup. Think of it like this, Brook fights primarily at Welterweight, which means everyone he fights is at 147 and much faster than Golovkin. What this means is that Golovkin is the slowest guy that Brook has ever encountered at top level and Brook is the fastest guy Golovkin has ever encountered at this level. Then factor in how skilled Brook actually is. Then look at how many rounds Brook legitimately won, which is one (the second). The first was competitive, but Golovkin did the most damage and controlled that round more, the second was close but Brook won, 3 and 4 were clearly Golovkin and the 5th isn't something we need to discuss. Losing one round is not getting exposed and looking terrible.

Also, a lot of what Brook did in the fight is because of how Golovkin himself chose to fight, but in doing so although he got hit more, he neutralized a lot of what Brook could feasibly do. That matchup had a lot of small things going in which made it very interesting to me. Very nuanced bout for as long as it lasted.

Truth is Kell Brook is a slickster with a good ring IQ and good power. He stunned Golovkin and got his attention. It was a good fight.

 

In no way did GGG fight this fight like a street fight. Deontay Wilder is a perfect example of what a street fight looks like when he has someone hurt. Caution is thrown out the window, your form drops (not that Wilder's form is that great to begin with), adrenaline kicks in and you lose control and fight on auto-pilot.

In no shape or form did GGG at any stage look like he was fighting like a typical street fight, he would have gassed after the first 3-4 rounds had he done so, not only that but he would have put Brook on a stretcher had he caught Brook whilst in a fit of rage. He fought a controlled fight, poise, technique and strategy. He got out boxed a little after letting Brook off the hook, so what, stop making pathetic excuses for him.

GGG is not the fastest fighter, nor does he have the best defense. He has other tools to make up for it, great pressure, really nice combination puncher, monster chin and power. Stop making him out to be this perfect fighting machine. He has weaknesses just like everyone else, no need to make excuses or believe the excuses he makes to try and make him out to be this perfect P4P best boxer in every category that only gets hit when he lets opponents hit him.

 

It's obvious that YDKSAB. Joe Frazier was not a come forward face first brawler like Marciano. Smokin' Joe was a very defensively sound fighter.
