I know, I thought the same, but in his defence I've been reading it in newspapers and on websites here in the UK too.

They are saying Jr will earn AT LEAST £3 million, AT LEAST :nut

Absolutely crazy money :huh regardless if it's true or not it's being reported by lots of different media outlets so you can't blame him for quoting that figure, he is just quoting the figure we are all being told here

Jr isn't a champion or even a mandatory so how they have managed to be talking money like that is stunning.

I personally don't think Golovkin will get booed, well I hope he don't but I wouldn't be surprised  if this happens it will be rammed with thousands and thousands of British boxing fans.

And you're bang on, we will get behind Jr, we have to, he is ours, he is one of us. British fight fans are the best boxing fans in the world, it's not even close.

I'm British, I have no choice, we always stick together and support our British brothers (and sisters).

I like Golovkin, really rate him and believe he will win but us British fans will always support our fighters regardless and make some serious noise.

If this is finalised I'm going, I will pay over the odds for tickets, I don't care, what a great night it will be.

at the Olympics yes, as a pro errr sometimes  but the fights I didn't support him in I was cheering for another British fighter so that's fair game in my opinion :think

I even supported Khan against Canelo, I supported a glass jawed, out weighed, out of his depth Amir Khan :yep

If these purses are correct then boxing is really wrong sometimes

Jr has done nothing if we are honest to deserve a purse that large, he has a high profile because of Sr but he is British champion ffs

Has there been a British champion that has gone from fighting a fighter like Tom Doran to a PPV fight and a purse of at least £3 million?

Look at some of the talent around the world who will never see purses like that.
Yes I understand it's ticket sale, sponsorship and PPV but you must know what I mean.

English heaped the pressure on Eddie and Sky and it looks like they've crumbled.

The press conference the other day was hilarious to watch. It's the first time I've seen Fast Car totally lost for words.

It was comedy gold, Hearn was in such a difficult position and his "mate" Kugan didn't help him out either :rofl

Kugan was straight on Hearn "Is what English is saying correct"

It was great to watch and yes you're right the Eubank's have kept applying the pressure, stood firm and insisted they get paid and it is starting to look like they have.
