Well if Ward expected GGG to move straight up to 168 to fight him, why wasn't he able to jump straight up to 175 to fight Kovalev?

Why does he want to "grow" into 175 yet wouldn't in theory give Golovkin the same option.

Because Chavez and Froch were the name fighters. The Hopkins fight will never happen but you can hang on to that one.

Ward as good as he is cannot draw flies and has virtually no fan base outside of the former Floyd fans who are in need for a new slick and black fighter.

Ward is the one who was desperate for the fight, both are champions 164 is or would be the ideal weight.

As for Wards fight against Barrera it's about time he started fighting as opposed to talking, but Barrera isn't the biggest puncher at 175, that man is the guy Ward needs to grow into the division for.
