    If Ward's name is never going to get any bigger then Golovkin might as well not fight him because it makes zero sense from a business and financial POV. All Golovkin asked for is 50/50. He's the A-side. He wants 50/50 of the money, 50/50 weight, 50/50 everything. It's "logic" as he described. Maybe if Ward was a superstar and drew in millions and millions of people nowadays he could negotiate these terms, but tbh, Golovkin offering even 50/50 everything to Ward is pretty generous. Of course, Ward refuses. That's fine.

    Golovkin will continue immersing himself into the mainstream, can look forward to fighting Canelo next spring to win the WBC Middleweight Title, Lemieux down the road for the IBF, and a potential Lee/Saunders winner fight... while Ward can continue fighting on BET to a national crowd of 300K. :good

    Andre S.O.G Ward is a bigger draw, and when he was on HBO, he was drawing 1.2 million on average.

    He also makes more per fight than GGG.

    He should be the A-Side if the fight ever materializes.

    Ward is also the far more accomplished fighter, and is already H.O.F status in terms of achievements. He has a long ways to go.

    Had he not been plagued with promotional issues, he would still be #2 on the p4p list. Manny/Rigo/Roman/Wlad would never have been able to overtake him.

    It's a shame.

    But Ward is back now and back with a vengeance. He is ready to kick some big azz at 168 and 175.

    Ward refusing anything is k2 myth

    It's funny how business and financial decisions only make sense for certain fighters whIle other are puss1 es for it.....fight ward for respect.......even the money in a ward fight is there......it's no worse than fighting boxcino winners for sure.......so go for some respect ggg.......but he doesn't want it because he's afraid.....afraid the myth gets cracked and no one will csre to watch him fight bums on hbo.....instead he calls out small guys like cotto and floyd...., what a fraud

    Cotto brings Golovkin
    a) the lineal MW title
    b) PPV
    c) mainstream's attention

    Mayweather brings Golovkin
    a) a title (if it was fought for Mayweather's JMW belt)
    b) MAJOR PPV
    c) world's attention


    Ward brings Golovkin
    a) no PPV
    b) potential loss
    c) hardcore fans' attention (which GGG already has)

    He's not fighting smaller guys because their small, nor is he avoiding Ward because he's big. It's just logic. It's where the financial reward is. It's not so much risk vs reward because Ward is no reward.


    The little guys bring him much more than Ward does or ever will unless Ward can somehow build his name more in the next few years.

    Cotto and floyd aren't fighting him dummy......get that through your head ....ward will....but ward isnt willie Monroe or a commonwealth champion so he's out of luck

    Can Mayweather or Cotto fight GGG and just get brutally KOed and get it over with.

    Cut the s*** Shockmaster, here's your agenda, you know GGG will KO Cotto and Floyd with ease, so you're terrified of them fighting him, but they won't because they are p**sies, and of course you think Ward will be too big for GGG and he'll beat GGG with ease, so you want that match to happen.

    Ya it's logical to want a mw to fight two welterweights lol....but illogical for a mw to fight a super mw....i know....I'm so insane ......what am I thinking

    It's funny to watch u guys make excuses for ggg that you would endlessly ridicule other fighters for.....well it would be funny if it weren't so damn sad

    What's equally funny is you all trying your absolute hardest to tear down with your shameless propaganda a fighter you know damn good and well is as good as we say he is, just like you all know he isn't ducking anyone in his own division and most fighters at MW are ducking him, all in an effort to make yourselves feel better. I don't give a f*** who he fights I want him to fight Ward and Lara and even Froch just to prove to all of the naysayers how real he is, even though I have my doubts he can beat Ward or Froch it doesn't scare me one bit.

    Ya cause most of them are average ....take a challenge and fight ward and prove something....but he doesn't want to.....he wants to fight the bum club or welterweights
