    Let's wait until he's retired.

A bit silly comparing a 51 year olds career to a guy of 34.

No, they weren't all cans, and I was trying to give you some badly needed perspective.

Unless Golovkin comes out as an Alien and fight through his 40s, I don't see how he can top Hopkins.

He's had the better wins, but he hadn't done a lot when he was GG's current age.

Ohhh. no, I understand now! you are talking about the next future! you are talking about "i'm a welterweight" brook!.... amazing.

Pavlik was dragged up to 170 pounds. Tito and DLH are skinny Welterweights. Roy Jones Jr. was shot. Most of Hopkins opponents are cans.

And even then, Bernard Hopkin's resume is greater by far than Golovkin's resume.

You're comparing a fighter who's essentially retired to an active fighter. And you tried to act like you're so smart? :patsch

Try to compare both guys at age 34, see how much different they are.

We'll have to wait and see.

There's an awful lot to consider when objectively an*lsing a fighter's career.

Although Bernard's a legend, if you put his career under the microscope, it's not as great as what it first appears.

These guys need a reality check.

GG has said he wants to obtain all of the belts before he moves up.

Bernard obtained all of the belts in 2001, yet he still remained in the division for a further 4 years. Again, not also forgetting that he's 6'1 with a 75" reach.

We don't even know if he'd ever have gone to LHW had he have been 5'10 with a 70" reach.

He had a size advantage over almost all of his MW opposition.

He only moved to LHW in 2006 when he'd got nothing to lose. Then in 2008 he admitted that he could have moved up to LHW 6 years earlier had he have wanted. This was a guy who turned down $6m in 2002 to fight Roy at a 168 CW.

If you put Bernard under the microscope he's not the guy that most people think he is.

    ggg, smashing tomato since 2005!

He can make his own trademard.

You, delusional fans, just cannot deal with reality. That's your problem. 24 yo canelo is more acomplished than gg would be in 5 lifes. And that's canelo, not to talk about guys like vitali, or román, or any real top notch fighter. Triple j, jjj, triple joke.
