I don't think Golovkin should've agreed to a rematch with Canelo. Any unbiased boxing fan knows Golovkin won that fight. We also know Golovkin is past his best with possibly only one or two great performances left in him, if any. Despite the decline, he beat a near prime Canelo clearly. He's now risking another robbery, against a fighter who looks as though he's on PED's. Imagine being robbed of your belts v a drug cheat after such a great career. It's a crazy risk to take. A win won't do much for GGG's legacy, because we already know he's beaten Canelo and would've annihilated him in his prime. But he could lose his unbeaten record by dodgy goldenboy judges. BJS is the fight we want to see. For the undisputed middleweight title. A fight I believe would be scored fairly, and an intriguing clash of styles. I just hope GGG is getting huge money to fight Canelo.
GBP put a rematch clause in the contract of the first fight, and they had the foresight to ensure it held in case of a draw. So unless NSAC rules against Canelo, the rematch goes ahead.
i think it was negative on the drugs, and a draw. "imagine" is the operative word of your post though. 3g needs this fight to full prove he is elite, although the draw was some proof. If he doesnt take it .... he will retire with his elitedom not 100% and not reaching HoF. but beat the LMW king, and thats HoF worthy. Having BJ instead will not fulfil that desire.
