This would be a cracking fight. I would imagine a war similar to Kessler v Froch. With Golovkin outworking froch assuming he can handle Frochs heavy hands.
As highly as I rate GGG his first true test is against Macklin; he's a definite step-up in quality. Best to wait and see how he does first!
Totally agree that we don't know enough yet about Golovkin. I just liked his style versus rosado. Lots of pressure and combination punching. It would be interesting to see how Froch deals with it. Froch somehow avoids getting hit more than once at a time. Don't think we will ever find out Froch will have retired by the time ggg is proven enough to step up.
Nice fight. Golovkin still needs to be tested though and will see a little bit more into how good he is against Macklin.
I've never seen Golovkin hide in his shell anytime his opponent throws anything. I think that this is the style Froch would fight but Golovkin wouldn't be in a shell and would counter.
I think Froch would win a clear decision over a highly touted, European, middleweight champion. A guy who, although has a big punch is probably not big enough to compete with the top dogs at 168.
Think Golovkin could win if he makes the weight alright, he throws bombs and im not sure Froch's punches hurt him, Froch could win a decision if he takes Golovkins punches though, after the Ishida KO im not sure if anyone can take his shots
I'm more confident in Frochs chin I think he will roll with the shots well. Froch might even get the stoppage if Golovkin fades under the heavy shots of a full 168 pounder
