Murray is the biggest MW in the division. He is not an amazing boxer, or a big time puncher. But he can take big shots and can counter effectively. This fight intrigues me more than some of the GGG opponents simply because of the overall size advantage for Murray.
Size is pretty much the only advantage Murray has here, and on its own it won't be enough. It might allow him to soak up some more of GGGs big power shots, but he won't win on that alone.

As for Murray Golovkin, I hope Murray isn't treating this as a cash out fight, although I dont dispute he deserves big money. I think Murray will take him into the second half of the fight, this is his only chance, and see if some of the sting comes out of Golovkins punches. Who knows, Murray might even be able to frustrate him enough to make some mistakes. I hope this fight builds some interest and puts some pressure on the Froch Golovkin fight anyhow!
You're deluded mate. For starters, Murray didn't beat Sergio. Secondly, it was proved in Sergios fight with Cotto he was absolutely shot to pieces and his legs hadn't only gone, they were falling apart. Thirdly, I'm not going to waste my time dissecting Froches sterling record. That's not my point, my point is you are obsessed with Froch, if the thread was about Mike Tyson you would fit him in there was somewhere. It's just a little bit sad and pathetic and I thought someone should let you know.
The irony is delicious with this one. Sergio = "absolutely shot to pieces". Froch's best ever win, old shot Kessler almost a decade past his best in a fight he just about won by the skin of his teeth with hometown scoring = "a phenomenal win". You couldn't make this **** up.

Because Froch's best ever win, the lucky hometown decision win over shot Kessler isn't very impressive either.
Could have went either way. The hometown fighter got it. Regardless, Kessler was finished as a top level fighter eons ago prior to that. Kessler was certainly more past it then than Sergio was when Cotto finished him.
I wouldnt score the fight for Kessler either but you have to admit the early rounds almost ****all happened, and if memory serves me Kessler really came on like a freight train in the last few rounds. He was pummeling Froch during the latter stages of the fight. To me that wasnt an impressive performance by Froch.
