It will do very well. Brook rates well on Sky sports. You have two unbeaten world Champs. You have the #1 pound for pound fighter in the world as well as being a destructive puncher. This fight will do £400k ppv minimum.
It's worth noting that, thanks to the UK money, this fight can be shown on regular HBO in the States. It's not going to be PPV in the US.
I'm not buying it. I hope it goes well though because I think both Golovkin and Brook deserve more limelight.
i dont give kell a prayer of a chance, but i respect his spirit... and for that reason, im backing his corner on this one.
Usually anything over 100k is seen as a success. Obviously purses determine the break even but anything over 400k would make it one of the highest grossing ppv fights. Nothing will beat Mayweather v Hatton which did 900k. That number was insane for a fight shown at 4am
Because of Brook in the UK... (Tickets) It's HBO's way of trying to push that GGG can sell tickets in all places to go with his belts that he won against bums/no names (beat down by rubio) or was simply handed to him by a career JMW. #Don'tbelivethehypeyoufuggin'sheep
As long as the British media tells the public that Brook has a decent chance, people will buy. [YT]zMRrNY0pxfM[/YT]
