Now that Golovkin has confirmed his 6 fight deal with DAZN, is a trilogy fight with Canelo almost 100% guaranteed? What are your guys thoughts?

I think the 3rd fight will happen within the next year and I think Canelo wins again, and convincingly this time.

He gets beat narrowly on points, again. But probably rightfully this time. (I had GGG winning the first 117-111 and the second was hard to score but a draw would have sufficed).

Problem with this trilogy is Canelo is improving and GGG is on the downlside. They're heading in different directions and it'll show.

GGG will be pushing, if not actually, 38 when this fight comes off. It's just too old.

Very possible. The 1st fight was clearly for Golovkin, the 2nd could have been a draw, and in the 3rd Canelo might actually legitimately beat him.
Chances are Golovkin probably ends up with even less to show for it as Norton had in his Ali trilogy.

All this 6 fight deal/Canelo triology stuff has just come too late for Triple G.

Had he been 5 or 6 years younger he'd be rubbing his hands in glee, but he's heading steadfast towards 40 on this current deal and he's simply past his peak.

might he not be rubbing his hands with glee, since he managed a whole career only fighting 3 top contender or above guys and only getting one loss. Seems like he got a good run.

I thoroughly enjoyed the first 2 fights, regardless of outcome, so I'd definitely be down for #3. That said, I can't see G winning at this point. He'll be another year+ older, while Canelo is still in his prime. I think Canelo might actually stop him in a 3rd fight with vicious left hooks to the body. Id love to see it this fall, but Canelo really just needs to worry about Jacobs first. Danny is going to bring it May 4th!!!

Out of those 6 fights, another 2 will be against Canelo. We are looking at more than a trilogy here. DAZN signs the two top middleweight fighters to multi year contracts, arch rivals, and they only fight once? I think we see a GGG win in the trilogy, and the 4th fight tiebreaker a year later.

That would be awesome. Quite possible if you think about the big picture.

Would rather see Canelo fight Andrade & BJS.
Would rather see GGG fight Eubank Jr & Smith

So go this route and pretty much say that GGG and Canelo are equally matched H2H?

One can only hope, I think that would be awesome for boxing. People are not sick of these guys fighting, and both events have been exciting.

Sucks knowing how the next chapter of Golovkins career is probably gonna go.

He will almost certainly have fights with Jacobs and Canelo. Possibly a trilogy with Jacobs as well (since if Jacobs wins the next one they will be 1-1)

He will most likely go 1-2 and 0-1-2 in his defining trilogies against fighters hed beat if he wasn't past it and them right in their prime, and yet regardless, ultimately they will negatively define his career to a lot of the usual suspects and casuals.
