Here's a link to an external site (CBSSports) that has a nice series of interviews with fighters and trainers on their opinions for the rematch:

    https://www.cbssports.com/boxing/ne...o-alvarez-vs-gennady-golovkin-ii-predictions/

Crawford, Bradley, Mosley, Chavez sr, Holyfield, Hatton, Saunders, Jack and Lewis pick Golovkin.

Cotto, Ward, Garcia, Porter, Roach, Pavlik pick Canelo.

    Vargas, Briggs, Andrade are undecided.

What's interesting is that most of the guys picking Canelo or being undecided cite GGG's age as a major factor in Canelo winning:

Ward "I think Triple G is getting a little older at 36, he has got miles on him."
Roach "I would have to say Canelo. I think he's the younger, fresher fighter right now and Triple G might be slowing down a bit."
Pavlik "I think Triple G could win this fight easier and could've won that last fight a lot easier but I think age is catching up to him."
Garcia "After their first fight, the younger one should do better I think."

This fight is a lot about whether Golovkin can turn back the clock and maintain the form he had in the first fight. I think he can. He was a little soft going into camp the first time, and they've managed the weight cut very carefully this time. I think Canelo is going to be lighter and faster himself and he's going to be more elusive than ever. This is going to be a great fight, provided GGG can force Canelo to engage.

    I'm on the younger-side bandwagon.

I would have to say a draw, based on the evidence of the last fight. But it may pan out very different.

Have a feeling GGG will take his head off this time.

I think the lighter version of Canelo will look good for a bit ... but I also think that the lighter version of Canelo may not take a punch as well as the clen version. I suspect the late rounds will be all GGG.

Without Clenbuterol and 3 judges under Canelo's pocket, he does not stand a chance :nonono

I was a bit dismayed that GGG did not attack the body as per norm, Ok he was wary of the counter but after he took Canelos best shot & virtually smirked back at him...Canelos eyes showed dread & thought "Gulp lets RUNNN"...
    Hope GGG corrects this.
Seriously, I expect Canelo to look sharp for the judges & maybe attack with blistering combinations making GGG look very mummy like...but the quality & determination that GGG possess ,which age does not affect, will shine through GGG stoppage late 10 -12.

All this "GGG is slowing down" nonsense. What the **** is that based on?

The only man who could possibly tell you that is Abel Sanchez.

Seems the major reason some are picking Canelo is due to GGG's age. He could still pull it off at 36.

He seems visibly slower than say 5 years ago to me.
