Golovkin vs Derevyanchenko still a possibility

It's a pity so many eastern euro guys have to face each other and basically cut each others throats.

 

I hope it will not be O'Sullivan, but looks like it might be and on PPV! If PPV, I will not watch it. I wish Golovkin would fight Andrade next or Charlo, but Charlo refused, so it will probably be Andrade of O'Sullivan...........

 

In a perfect world Saunders would cancel the needless Murray fight and step in but it is already too late now (4 weeks)

 

This would be great. To hell with fighting Spike, taking care of mandatories is more important, specialy if they themselves are desperate to get in the ring even on such short notice.
Now is not the time to start avoiding fighters and playing them the way Golovkin himself was played.

 

I'm in for the best match possible, but with Clenelo cheating out, Derevyanchenko is a very tough challenge on short notice, and once more: why should GGG suffer Clen's cheating consequences? GGG has no contract with 4 weeks remaining, Richard Dere has zero marketing value, there's no time for proper build-up and GGG, the innocent party definitely deserves a full camp focused on a very dangerous foe.

Nope, it's not GGG, but HBO that should take the blame for an eventual tune-up.

How come they fire Tarver from commentary for failing a PED test, but for a full month after Clenelo's positive tests, with NSAC rules clearly stating suspension is mandatory, they sit on their corporate asses and don't cancel? How come they don't offer $7,5M for a June non-PPV card, and then GGG has proper time to prepare for an entirely different but no less dangerous opponent such as Andrade or Derevyanchenko?

Seriously, is HBO done in boxing?
