How do you see this fight unfolding if it ends up taking place. I think Geale has a real chance with his good ring iq and great fitness. GG was tiring considerably in the later rounds against ouma and i really cant see him being able to hit a slick geale with such ease later on. Geale has a pretty decent chin too. GG has only been to rnd 10 once in his career so i can honestly see Geale with the edge later on and having a good chance of coming away with a decision. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fUxlPIlXhjI[/ame] watch the punch avoidance from geale at 1:00 minute from a pressing fighter with 'the best jab in the business' . Hes alot slicker than you think. Thoughts? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnzVbFQkppk[/ame]
Geale has really improved since his performance against Mundine. He fought great against Mundine but his inexperience let him down but now he's tiptop with his wins over Karmazin, Sylvester, and now Sturm. He reminds me of Clinton Woods in a way. Not in style or anything, but just being a guy who looked like he'd peaked as some middle of the road dude but upped his game and notched some good wins. I still see Golovkin beating him. I think he had a major off night against Ouma, whom he still put in the hospital. I'd like Gennedy to get one more big win, maybe over Dzinzeruk or maybe Macklin before he fought Geale though.
Geale pretends he has a good defense and is slick but he isn't, he's very hittable. He relies on volume, has little power and is probably even smaller than Golovkin. Golovkin stops him inside 7 rounds. Golovkin beat him as an amateur btw.
Geale isn't a bad fighter, but Golovkin appears to be on a different level. I think if they fight, Geale gets handled. Golovkin by KO by the 7th.
