These guys don't even know who Kevin Kelly is. I met both him and Floyd at Ceasars palace New Years, 2001/2002.
Kevin Kelly had Jacobs losing the fight by 1 point . Kelly admitted there was a few 10 - 10 rounds as well .
That's the telecast copy I watched. Kevin Kelly did a great job, informative and unbiased in his assessment. It was a close fight. He also had Gonzales a few points ahead. He was on point both occasion.
Still bummed we never saw Tuur vs Kelly at the pros. Clearly Arum didn't want one of them derailed. But good to see that some American boxers can take their bias aside and keep it real. Way to go Kevin.
It's a clear 115-112 or maybe even a 116-111 GGG win depending on your view on the 12th. Don't get it.. People need to learn how to score fights! Jascobs lost via the jab. GGG was doing a Ward.. Doing just enough to win most of the closer rounds & mostly with the jab! He was walked down & dancing to GGGs tune.. Get over it! Smart fight by GGG...
the most people can`t really score. GGG won way higher then the most guys had it, based on the fact that close rounds are going to the champion. to become the champ you have to dethrone the champ. that scoring-rule isn`t a secret. jacobs fought VERY GOOD but didn`t fought the fight in several points to replace ggg as the champion.
Not a close fight at all. I watched it 3 times. My final score was 116-111 for GGG. Golovkin had absolutely no problems in this fight.
I think the size advantage was the only problem for GGG..A lot smaller naturally, but Jacobs fought the fight of his life also
