Jacobs has began his 10 week training camp and, in what must have proven quite costly, “The Miracle Man” has brought in three world class fighters as sparring partners – the three Russian fighters all being legit middleweight contenders in their own right.

According to a piece on RingTV.com, Keith … Read Article

Good to see that Jacobs wants to win and is preparing as best he can. He's not cashing out as I had once feared.

    Bring on March 18!!

You can't really train your chin. I hope it last a few rounds.

Yeah, I think that he is preparing himself properly. I am hoping for a well contested fight where both fighters will have to dig deep for the victory.

His Main focus should be movement and angles, GGG isn't exactly hard to find, but if he can set up his punches properly and slip and counter he may be able to put GGG on his ass. He's got the power to do it.

Yeah, if he can take GGG to places where he has never been, he might throw him off his game and create some knockout opportunities. On the other hand he might bring out a higher level of fighter in GGG. Regardless, I wanna see it and I wanna see it from both fighters.

I still think an inside fighter with a cast iron chin is the man to take GGG.

That said, in the case of Jacobs, your advice makes perfect sense.

    Avtandil Khurtsidze.

Inside fighter at 5'4", works like a horse, iron chin. I'd resurrect the N'Dam-Khurtsidze RBR made in 2010 if I knew where to find it, I just remember some discontent with the official -narrow- scores. Unfortunately for him at age 37 he got screwed out of a WBO mando spot just recently.

It would be entertaining, but I don't think he takes the W against Golovkin. Isn't he one of the three highly touted sparring partners hired by Team Jacobs? I thought I read that too.

Good for him. Maybe some will give him a chance now and stop calling him "another bum".

I'd be worried to read he was taking this fight lightly. Pushing himself to the limits is the minimum requirement...

Okay I know there is the stetrotype that Americans couldn't even find the planet earth on the global but this is ridiculous

A Georgian And two Ukrainians are in camp and 'he has 3 Russians in camp'

I don't know if this is the fault of the rung or James slater but someone needs to fact check these articles as its promoting the geography illiterate american stereotype
