It all depends on how aggressive Jacobs is. This could all be over in the first two.

Jacobs has a chance, but if GGG does what he should do, he ought to win comfortably.

 

GGG by stoppage, Jacobs has a plan but after 4 rounds of being battered he is losing faith, Virgils whispers are starting to sound like fairy tales as he hopes to survive.
His trainer is now considering picking up a towel but Danny pleads with him, the ref says show me something Danny or this is the last round son, Danny goes out on his shield..great fight.

Between 5-8. A cautious first four rounds to see whats what. Then a slow turning of the screw so by 7 or 8 Jacobs is tired and had nowhere else to go. Then he is stopped on his feet. I think it will be prematurely stopped by the ref as it will allow Jacobs fans to complain about the stoppage but also let him go out on his feet. I think Jacobs deserves this though for stepping up and being game. That's what boxing is and he should get respect for it.

 

Golovkin early.
I expect Golovkin to start cautiously like the poster above me, but still hurt Jacobs early on. It won't be hard to finish him after that.

Everything I have heard from Jacobs in the lead up sounds like a man who is trying to convince himself he has a chance but not succeeding (Danny knows he is doomed)

 

if jacobs goes more than 8, then ggg is overated. if he gets destroyed in less than 4, then ggg is untouchable in about 3 divisions and is the real deal.

 

Jacobs fragile whiskers will let him down this fight. He simply doesn't have the chin to face GGG.

 

Be honest, do you stare at people's chins when you talk to them?

 

Only Khan's is transparent like that.

 

Golovkin in round 9 or so. If he figures him out quickly, he will still carry him for a while. No big drama show if he just beats him up. I don't discount Jacobs- we all have been waiting to see who can stay in there with Golovkin. He could be the one, but I wouldn't bet on it.

 

Golovkin 5-8, if Jacobs turns up and really has a solid game plan I think he may make Golovkin look bad for the first few rounds but eventually GGG chins him.
