    They should just sticky all these threads and call it: Let's micromanage Golovkin's career.


    My favorite part of this phase is the douche who thinks the MW Champ making his 10th defense, should drop down to Jr MW and accomadate a beltless fighter who is being brought in as an opponent.

    All we are missing is the Afrofag who calls Monaco a Third World Country.

    If Golovkin drops down to 154 and fights Kirkland, more fans will appreciate and respect GGG, instead of him fighting 154 pounders and moving up to 160 to fight him.

    If Golovkin is going to beat up on 154lb fighters then he needs to campaign there. If not then he needs to fight a middleweight with a pulse or move up.

    I hear Andre Ward is available...

    Why can't a person simply think a fighter is unproven or a hype job without it being racist? If a non white didn't like pavlik it was because he is white, same thing with the Klits, GGG etc.. Not everyone likes the same things dude..

    I think he's referring to posts like this one below, amongst others, where someone gets called a "little mexican" for simply saying GGG is a good, respectable guy. From some of the posts I've seen about GGG, there does seem to be some sort of prejudice by some users (either race-based or xenophobia), so maybe that's what he was commenting on.

    I really hope this fight doesn't happen :-( 50 cent should get bitchslapped if he makes GGG the next opponent for Kirkland when hes just captured some small momentum and has a serious shot at making waves at 154.


    As for G and his team, to pick Kirkland as an opponent at this point would be a bad joke.



    But as far as I know this isn't even official, I would like to think that G and team wouldn't pick a guy like Kirkland as an opponent at this stage.

    HBO gave Tom Loeffler a list of potential opponents for GGG to fight on HBO. Tom Loeffler showed that list to Abel Sanchez and Sanchez said "yes" to every name on that list.
    If Kirkland's name was on that list and he gets the fight, then that decision was made by HBO.
