GGG tko's kovalev after 6/7 very eye pleasing rounds. Kovalev doesn't have close to the endurance, heart, skill or talent to last with ggg. @175 doesn't matter what weight ggg weight in @ 160 lb ggg stops 175 kovalev. ggg is of the top of the elite destroyer with every single attribute of the elite level. Kovalev allegedly has elite power but at best for 3 rounds and nothing else that's elite
Fun fight for 4 rounds... kova starts taking control around 5th... beats on him through the 7th... stops him around 10. Just imo
Sk in a one sided fight... if ggg was good enough to fight @ 175, he would have fought at 68 a long time ago. He's 36 years old and still being moved at the pace of a prospect. That's not the sign of someone who could jump 2 weight divisions and fight one of the most devastating punchers in the sport
I think Kovalev has more skills honestly. He boxed excellently against Ward and showed he was more than a come foward wrecking machine. GGG gets hit too damn easy but his offense is a little more explosive than Kovalev who's more precise with his punches.
Ummmm ... no. Golovkin has the footwork, the punch variety, he can fight inside and at range, as a boxer or a brawler ... you name it. Kovalev is a good boxer with a mastery of distance but he has nowhere near the flexibility GGG has.
188 is what Krusher comes in at anyway. Might as well not have a clause. Golovkin comes in 172-174. Stop listening to braindead posters.
I thought so as well before kovalev fights with Hopkins and Ward, but not anymore, he showed plenty of ring smart especially with controlling the distance. Also the quality of fighters, kovalev faced in recent times is better than ggg's.
Im a big GGG fan but i dont see how he beats Kov. Too big,too strong, too skilled. NOt an easy fight for Kov but i think he wears down GGG late and stops him.
