Golovkin vs Kovalev who wins???

I think Kovalev lacks a top class chin and a bit of heart. I'm one of the few who believes GGG would stop him.

 

Tough fight for GGG... I think Krusher would KO GGG within 6 rounds because of kovalev size and strength... also ggg gets hit a lot. He can't take those kind of punches...

GGG can win to the body...

 

What I think too. Look, I'm not writing Golovkin off, because clearly he does have enough steam on his punches to hurt Kovalev thanks to the sparring stories we've heard. So I guess he could win but I'm favouring Kovalev.

Golovkin will have trouble with Kovalev's dimensions and power on the outside. GGG has a great jab but so does Sergey, he really polished Ward up with it. GGG'd have to pressure him close and hope he gasses. But it's hard for a smaller guy to pressure a good big guy with power no matter how skilled you are. Let's not forget, it's two divisions we're talking about here. I like both these guys and I'm not sure that I'd want to see them splatter each other.

Of course, this is all opinion

 

Logically, you have to favour Kovalev but it's still a great fight!

 

I think GGG would have a lot more success with Krusher than he would against Ward. I think GGG has much better punch variety too and would be able to change up his game/fight inside.

Wouldn't even put down any money on this fight. Lol! Too much of a toss up for me. It would be brutal that's all I know. Those two aren't going to feel each other out too much or dance around. Lol

 

Amazing how these guys will supposedly pick GGG to beat Kovalev some even by stoppage yet when asked to prove it, all you hears is cries about how moving up not even to LHW but SMW is so unfair and he's so small a strange group you bunch are.

 

Most of us pick Kovalev. Gena has a chance but Kova is a lot bigger.

 

Sergey is too big for Gennady. If Kovalev has a good training camp and has good stamina and conditioning for the fight- I'd imagine he'd win by decision. If GGG leaves himself open to getting hit with flush shots early on, than Kovalev might be able to stop him. Golovkin might've been able to take shots from MW's, but KOvalev is a hard hitting LHW that punches like a HW. I don't see this ending well for GGG.
