Nice fight and definitely a step up in competition for Gennady. The only 2 guys at JMW (outside of Canelo,) that I think could give Gennady a good fight are Lara and Jermall Charlo (who's moving up to MW soon.)

If Lara is at the top of his game and not fighting in a lackadaisical manner, he should give Golovkin a good fight. I could also see Lara getting knocked out. It all depends what version of Erislandy shows up. If he uses good footwork and is able to get his punches off (especially counterpunches,) he could make it a tough fight. He'd have to be on his A+ game.

Closest thing to concrete is Mendoza saying he'd allow Lara or Smith to fight, so long as GGG FOUGHT AT MW, and K2 being in constant contact with Haymons promoters.

Yeah. There might even be a decent poster under all of that biased hate. Basically, he went on a rampage after a section of GG's deluded fan base upset him. But all he had to do was to ridicule them like I do, and then seek out the better posters. There's no need for this behaviour. I hate hype myself. I hate the idiots on here. But with 21 threads, he's now actually behaving worse than what they are.

He's only showed his so-called A game vs plodders.
His A game gets him into the 5th rd.

What was Bernard doing at GG's age?

It's his right to try and accomplish his goals, and again, his goals are no different to DeGale's or any other fighters.

There you are again believing that Andre was ready to fight. Wake up FFS. A guy who was inactive for 19 months due to injury and contractual disputes wasn't ready to fight anyone, especially at SMW which is a weight he hasn't made for years. A fight was never really viable back then. GG didn't want to fully commit to SMW, and Andre would have wanted a few tune ups. They were at different stages of their careers.

If GG moves up to SMW and a fight with Andre happens at some point in the future, I'll take great delight in bumping all of these threads.

The saddest thing is, if it wasn't for the idiots and the unjustified hype that's upset you, you might have been a fan of GG's where you could have held an objective debate regarding his career. It's sad that you're full of hate. There's so many other topics to debate. I hardly see you on any of the other threads.

    Just to add:

Why do keep saying he let the belts be passed around?

    1. He thought it was in his best interests at the time, you know, the circumstances that you allow for others.

    2. We now know that Canelo wouldn't have fought him anyway. Which means that he would have been in the exact same position that he's in now, where you would still have criticised him for it.

Either way, he couldn't win with you.

GG must be the first thing you think of in a morning, and the last thing you think of at night.

The man has taken over your life.

    It's unhealthy.

What noise did GGG talk about 168? Also GGG must be pretty good for certain fans to want him to fight Ward a guy that comes into the ring 16-20 pounds heavier fight night

-Ward about to get destroyed by Kovalev a guy his own size.

-Ward: it was so hard making 168

-Ward fought in the ams at 178lbs

    :rofl

    Are you for real?

It was obvious after literally 5 seconds why you made it and where you were going with it.

Are you seriously going to try and claim it wasn't GG related?

    Ha!

Everyone knew why you'd made the thread and you made reference to GG in the 7th post.

    What a joker.
