Floyd's spokesmen are talking trash about Golovkin, which makes me think they are considering him as an opponent.

If Floyd drains Golovkin, then he deserves NO CREDIT for a win over him. If they fight, it should be at 160 lbs, just like Hagler vs Leonard, Hopkins vs Trinidad, and countless other fights in which a welterweight champ challenged the middleweight champ.

Let's be honest, because our lives depend on it :deal

How many of those Welterweight champs challenging for titles at 160 lbs won thier first title at 130 lbs?

Floyd highest weight has been around 150 lbs and that includes his weigh ins 30 days before his fights.

Thomas Hearns, Oscar De La Hoya, Hector Camacho and James Toney won world titles in 6 weight classes, without any catch-weights. You're good at making arguments for your gаy idol but you forget to apply the same logic to any other fighter, just to protect your master Floyd.

Can we ask Floyd to do what Oscar did? Or does it offend you when we ask your gаy idol to be serious like everyone else?

Hoya is the only one of those guys to win a major title in 6 divisions. And two of those titles were WBO titles back when the WBO was on the same level as the IBO now.

:patsch Exactly not many fighters can claim to have won titles in 6 weight classes only a hanful have , Floyd would be a long side the many others:rasta who haven't.

When have I not used the same logic with other fighters?

The way I see it if Floyd beats GGG at 160 lbs great but at the same time I won't hold it against him if he doesn't considering he weighs 150 lbs 30 days out from his last lot of fights.

Oscar gets a lot of respect for middleweight challenge but he should really be 0-2 at that weight not exactly what Floyd wants on his record.

You realize guys rehydrate ridiculously more now than they used to in classic welter-middle matches, right? I mean Golovkin enters the ring as what would be a light heavy in the old days.

It's been more than 30 years now since the era of same day weigh-ins.

Really should have lost that fight though, so his actual record at the weight should be 0-2 something I don't think Floyd wants on his record.
