Golovkin Vs Monroe

Just saying it would behoove Monroe to get a bigger ring. MM planned on using movement but was ok with a small ring against someone who already cuts the ring off well. It just wasn't right for the type of fight he wanted to bring. I am not saying the fight wouldn't have been much different he woulda still been outclassed but he MAY have taken less punishment and made it to the final bell.

 

I could see him getting the lineal early next year at the latest as long as he gets a unification bout or 2 in before then. It had to be something career enhancing it blows when a fighters career stagnates. I hope Lee beats Quillin as I can see him having no problem fighting GGG after the Quillin fight and a BJS mandatory. I can't see Quillin fighting him and I am sure someone here posted a link to Quillin saying he won't too much risk over reward. I also don't see an issue with Lemieux or Ndam fighting him. If he can get those kind of career enhancing fights I have no issue with him staying at 160 but after that it's going to start hurting his prime/legacy.
