As much as I'm a Rosado fan, he shouldn't have been able to rock Munguia in the weekend. However, he did wear everything that Munguia could throw at him, without being dropped. If Rosado can remain standing for 12 rounds, how the hell is Munguia going to beat Golovkin? If Golovkin has 60% left in him, he beats Munguia with relative ease... Golovkin can be outboxed, we have seen it time and time again. But you need to gain his respect. Given that Munguia couldn't hurt Rosado (more than he was hurt himself) why would Golovkin insist on letting the overzealous offensive fighter come forward? It's not going to happen. Throw Derevyanchenko or Jacobs at him.
Something about Rosado rocking Munguia. I guess fighters shouldn't get rocked or else they are trash.
Golovkin hasn't really been the same under Banks. He is still powerful and explosive, but when i think of how he went life and death against Derevyanchenko, although not well for that fight, makes me think this fight could be 50/50 with Munguia's youth and exceptional work rate endurance and durability. The Golovkin that fought Derev could be 50/50 with Munguia, but if Golovkin is more polished and dialed in like he seemed to be vs Szeremeta it may be 60/40. The thing is Szeremeta although talented was no threat to GGG so it was harder to gage how confortable GGG would be against a genuine threat, but if the Szeremeta fight was a indication then GGG is getting sharper. It would be another barn burner thats for sure.
Golovkin will stop Munguia. No one exchanges with GGG. If they do they get taken out. Rosado isn't even close to Golovkin's ability and power and yet he went the distance with Munguia. Munguia is a very good fighter but he could not withstand Golovkin's power. Golovkin by KO.
