Golovkin vs Murata would sell big in Japan

Its all about the location. Murata is a superstar in Japan. What does it matter if no one knows him in the states(or any other country)? Murata vs Golovkin would be an enormous fight in Japan.
You cant say otherwise.

Murata is prob better known in US than limey duck BJS.
BJS is absolute nobody in US , casuals don’t know who joshua is , so you can forget about BJS .
GGG should ignore BJS as he had his chance , but wanted to wait for GGG to get old lol.

 

Its all about opposition. You're not from Japan so what why is it important to you that he fights out there?

You'd pass on seeing a huge undisputed fight against the divisions best just so he can fight a lesser guy in Japan. That doesn't make any sense to me.

Damn I wonder how a guy who got double digit million viewers for his last 3 fights is unknown yet BJS can't sell out his caravan and Derveychenko brings what to the table... An alphabet ranking a win over a 78 year old Sam Soliman and a win over a guy who lost to a guy Golovkin beat...

Martinez was still chasing the best guy in the division at 38 years old. When he was 36 he battered Pavlik , the same age GGG is now.
Martinez took a cash - out retirement fight at 40 years of age when his body was in absolute tatters. Golovkin is as good as the Martinez that whooped Pavlik , he just hasn't the bottle to take on the best the division has to offer.

Froch saw off his career against the best in the division pushing 38. This is why Froch is a boxing legend and why GGG is a cherry picking ducking disgrace!

I never said that i would choose Murata over anyone. What i said is that Murata would likely be the bigger fight in Japan.And that it´s ridiculous to say that nobody would care about it.
Personally, i dont really care for Murata atm. I want BJS/Alvarez/Charlo.

 

As a fan , you should call for the fights you want , not for the ones you don't want.

I replied to a post which stated that Murata was a nobody. Well Murata is a superstar in Japan and him vs Golovkin would be a mega event there. It would likely be bigger than Golovkin vs BJS and definitely bigger than Golovkin vs Charlo.

 

I would like to see this but it should happen in Japan or Kazakhstan. After all Murata has probably a better MW resume as Charlo and Derevyanchenko
