This is a very good fight and I'm not sure who I'd pick at the moment. Strange choice for Golovkin and I wonder if he has trouble going back to 160 or does he stay at 168. He'll have trouble at 168 but there are some great fights there for him. Winner is in good position to land a big fight after this.
what i meant to say is. gennedy gennadyevich golovkin can add 'Glorious' to his name. a fantastic pick em fight. which has the feeling of 2 good operators trying to proove their worth in a big fight....which just happens to be against each other. internet boxing fans win. well done to both.

A much younger 6'4" guy with a chin, workrate and a southpaw jab that would give most super middles pause - let alone a 5'10" career MW who's only been over the limit twice and both times by a mere pound.
I have been thinking that Golovkin's managers have been playing to the media when claiming that he is avoided, and that greed on their behalf was at least as important a factor behind the drought of opponents. Guess I was wrong. The team is really serious about Triple-G. They have claimed a 154-168 range for their fighter - and guess what? They intend to prove it! Golovkin is not really SMW sized - he is simply too small and might stay at 160 his entire career, but he could fight at SMW simply by conditioning and skills only. Oosthuizen will test his chin and power as well as skills against a taller opponent. If Golovkin wins impressively, maybe even a Ward fight is possible. If he performs less than optimal, opponents at 168 must be chosen with care. Now I will watch every Youtube clip I can find with Oosthuizen and find out what Triple-G is up against.
this is insane when you think about it... i've been a hugh supporter of GGG but i dont even plan on voting because i really dont know who will win.
Technically, I don't agree with any of the poll options the way they've been worded. I see Golovkin taking a bit of a system shock upon his first up-close glimpse of Tommy's style, but grueling his way back to gain the upper hand by staying low and close and throwing out the textbook to get a bit rough. Not sure he'll stop Tommy, and he'll definitely give up a share of points...most likely early on, and then maybe a late surge from the very durable South African. I see GGG eking out a majority or split decision, or it could even be a draw. Or, Oosthuizen by close/split scores. Probably controversial, with people arguing over what type of work they preferred throughout and bickering over tightly contested rounds.
