GG will not be criticized for taking this fight. Losing to Brinkley at a weight that Stevens probably belong at isn't terrible. Imo Stevens like Abraham never belonged at 168.
I've seen this quotations. Murray unlike Ricky seems to have a discipline. So it might be not in his plans to wait until Golovkin grows old. I agree Murray has a few options including Lee, Sturm, Golovkin, Barker. I doubt Martinez would give him a rematch though. On this stage it looks like HBO have really to back Golovkin up to make big fight happen.
Props to Stevens for taking the deal. He'll get knocked out for his efforts, but I respect that he's got the guts to go after GGG while everyone else is trying to freeze him out and look the other way. Again, credit to Curtis for manning up. Should be an entertaining scrap while it lasts.
Me and Farmboxer will be huge Stevens fans after he is laying on the canvas unconscious by tasting some Gennady's hammers.:blood
Don't bet any money or you'll be waiting with Farmboxer in the Home Depot parking lot hoping for a day-labor job
I'm not sure if you're referring to Hatton vs Tszyu but I'll take it as you are. It was hardly discipline that postponed the fight, it was proper management by Frank W. He knew that if he signed Hatton to fight Tszyu three years earlier it would have been doom.
LOL at the poll numbers..... for some of the vets around here, is this the most one-sided poll in this forum's history?
