I meant that fighters truly dedicated to the sport are more persistent and eager to challenge themselves in order to achieve their goals. They have better chances to bounce back after setback especially if they are mentally stable. Bottom line is that what was good for Ricky is not necessarily good for Murray. But perhaps I'm wrong.
Stevens' twitter pic is definitely getting attention for the fight, but man, I've got a feeling the guy's going to pay for it come fight night. It's equal parts disrespectful, ballsy, and stupid, which is usually a good mix to get more people to watch and to give the other guy that much more motivation to kick your ass.
Holy ****, this somehow became the 5th most viewed thread in forum history. :yikes Behind only Irish Boxing, Rummy's Challenge, Kirk's 2011, and the Golota Express. People really are that excited? :huh This is a ****ing mismatch. Look at the Damn poll!
I like Stevens and would love to see him spring the upset. But shorty look kinda little standin next to all them Gs
think people come here because it's funny IB. Just like the "what does floored mean to you" thread. Nothing special, but so damned onesided it's funny. Looking who actually voted for the other option
It's really NOT such a mis-match. Stevens has a decent chance. - It's just that no sane person would actually BET on him winning. It's an exciting fight, wherein either guy could win by KO, but the likely outcome is a Golovkin KO.
Only one month to go until this excellent HBO doubleheader. Good to see some new fighters on HBO. I became really bored with seeing the same mediocre fighters like Malignaggi, Berto, Ortiz, Cintron, Quintana, etc.
