I like CEJ I just don't think he has what it takes to beat Golovkin, personally I'd be surprised if he's still there after round 6.

What I'd of liked to see priir to the GGG fight is him in with fighters like a Heiland or an N'dam. Just get a little more rounds at world level.

We're not going to get a tuneup for Eubanks. He's going straight into the Lions den for this shot. We'll just agree to disagree on the chances he has. IN my opinion this is Golovkin's biggest fight to date.

The fight has been signed, that's what. Fighters who are in the list of top contenders suddenly become bums when Golovkin signs to fight them and inevitably demolishes them. It's how the demographic roll.

Ideally, I would have liked to have seen CEJ-Jacobs for the WBA lite belt, with the winner to face Golovkin. But Golovkin needs a challenger and with no other credible middleweight showing much interest, CEJ did what a lot of Twitter mouthpieces won't. He didn't start getting brave on Twitter when both had fights signed, he got his promoter to get in touch with Golovkin's and make a firm proposal for a fight and as a result he got his shot. And you know what, good luck to him, a lot of fighters could learn from his fearless approach. As far as contenders go, wins over Chudinov and O'Sullivan and a pretty much even fight with Saunders are better than most middleweights who haven't already had a crack and CEJ is young and improving.

Well, if this fight falls through, Jacobs has tweeted that he's ready for GGG. It would be poetic justice to see that happen. Then Jacob would say he didn't type that, his kids must have gotten into his account and messed around.

Jacobs is fighting Mora next. Golovkin would need an opponent ASAP if the Eubanks fight fell through..

Me too. Right now CEJ is not as proven as the likes of Lemieux and Murray, though I think he has a higher potential ceiling. Agree with all of this. From good solid wins over fringe world level guys in Chudinov and Spike, it's unfathomable why he has suddenly gone back to fighting British level opponents.
