Fury's best win a guy who beat Kevin Johnson, should have gotten the nod over an undefeated Robert Helenius, stopped Malik Scott, Edmund Gerber, and gave Vitali an incredibly tough fight. Not to mention one of the best HW matches in recent history against David Haye.

Is now Spike O'Sullivan Level WHAT THE **** IS WRONG WITH YOU?

I'd put a million dollars if I had it on a 50yo Hopkins schooling the same Abraham that Zurdo beat, come to think of it I'd even put 1 Million on BHop schooling Zurdo as well.

Really? Maybe from you but not from the members of the demographic. Firstly, none of those guys are middleweights and none of them are elite, or at least not proven as such. Secondly, if Golovkin beat them you could hear the demographic now.

Jack "A Derrick Edwards cast off, knocked out in one by a journeyman"
Degale "George Groves case off, struggled with Rogelio Medina FFS"
Dirrell "A Froch/Degale case off, only beaten one world class fighter and he ended that fight unconscious"
Zurdo "Totally unproven, one decent win over a shot Abraham"

These guys are Boxrec warriors who only know about half a dozen fighters, don't understand the sport, its fighters or how it works and trawl Boxrec trying to find something to demean any Golovkin opponent based on.

You have to admit that he will get more credit for going up and doing that comparing to what he does now. There will always be haters. All of those guys are bigger than him, and better than anyone he's fought.

    100% truth.

The top of the 168 are no more proven or superior than the tier at 160 below Golovkin.

At 160 Golovkin is in the same position as Ward was at 168, he is without equal.

What the hell throw in Jack, DeGale, Groves and Chudinov as well. I'd even give him a legit shot at beating Stevenson.

I didn't say he was on the level, but not far off.

Some fighters get more breaks and Chisora is one of them, I happen to like Del boy as well he's a true warrior of the sport, any time any where.

If Spike fought a 160lbs equivalent of Scott I'd back him to take his head off any day of the week.

Del boy has always been a 10-15 ranked type fighter (Over the whole division not Orgs), Chudinov and Spike are probably 15-25 type level.

Do you not maybe think you're a little bit on the partisan side when it comes to CEJ?

In my view, he is what he is, a good contender, nothing more, nothing less at present. Wins over Spike and Chudinov are better than most non-retread contenders have to offer, but he appears to have gone backwards in terms of opposition since. I had Saunders beating him by a round or two,but CEJ was coming on strong at the end, would probably have won a 15 rounder and would be a 50/50 shot in a rematch.

He deserves a ton of credit for actually getting off his backside and making a firm approach to GGG which a lot of other twitter mouthpieces are not prepared to do.

GGG is p4p top 5 and if CEJ beats him then he gatecrashes the top 10 (I would need to see him beat another top fighter before I would rank him top 5, just to prove GGG didn't suddenly get old overnight or something). I have to say, though, that whilst CEJ deserves his top 10 contender ranking, is still improving and has natural athletic ability, he's going to need to show me more than he has to date if he's going to have a chance against GGG.

I think Eubanks falling back on opposition was to preserve his shot at Golovkin. Nothing more or nothing less.

This is what GGG huggers need to understand, CEJ is looking great against British level fighters but its not really that hard to imagine that he could possibly fight down to the level of opposition he faces.

I have seen a lot of skills that could make this fight interesting and I believe he will be much better than he ever has been before.

I read some of the rubbish on here and I wonder if I've done a Shocky and the fight has already taken place!!!!

As far as I'm aware its still July and the fight will most likely be in September, GGG has not won by KO with the first punch he has thrown and CEJ is still very much a live under dog.

Eubank Jr simply doesn't deserve to be in the same ring as Golovkin.

When I first read that title I thought this thread would be about Golovkin vs Danny Jacobs...
