I'd love to see it.

It means more to us English fans though.

What's changed is that the fight looks as though it's going to happen.

Eubank taken the fight is impressive and slightly shocking for me. For a while it did look like he loved feasting on overmatched fighters but the eubanks are very ****y and that is a flaw but in this case it is good for the fans, they fully believe they can beat GGG.

Il hive eubank serious credit for taken the fight but he will get beat senseless. At least he shows more courage than canelo ,bjs, quillin, Jacobs etc

    ellerbe,

What does Jacobs class as being the right amount of money?

The MW division is not horrendously bad.

It's not like SMW is really strong either. Although I would love to see him move up at some point.

    I agree.

I think the fight with Billy was too soon, as well as this one with GG. But all respect to him for wanting it.

    I'm genuinely excited by this.

Although I don't think he's ready, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Eubank was competitive and it went the distance.

    He looks really strong.
The fight has been signed, that's what. Fighters who are in the list of top contenders suddenly become bums when Golovkin signs to fight them and inevitably demolishes them. It's how the demographic roll.

Ideally, I would have liked to have seen CEJ-Jacobs for the WBA lite belt, with the winner to face Golovkin. But Golovkin needs a challenger and with no other credible middleweight showing much interest, CEJ did what a lot of Twitter mouthpieces won't. He didn't start getting brave on Twitter when both had fights signed, he got his promoter to get in touch with Golovkin's and make a firm proposal for a fight and as a result he got his shot. And you know what, good luck to him, a lot of fighters could learn from his fearless approach. As far as contenders go, wins over Chudinov and O'Sullivan and a pretty much even fight with Saunders are better than most middleweights who haven't already had a crack and CEJ is young and improving.
Great post.

For what it's worth, I'm not in any of those groups.

Regarding Eubank, I don't think he's average and unskilled.

I'm more than happy with this fight.

Let's not pretend that the Ward fight was available to him had he have wanted it.
Really? Maybe from you but not from the members of the demographic. Firstly, none of those guys are middleweights and none of them are elite, or at least not proven as such. Secondly, if Golovkin beat them you could hear the demographic now.

Jack "A Derrick Edwards cast off, knocked out in one by a journeyman"
Degale "George Groves case off, struggled with Rogelio Medina FFS"
Dirrell "A Froch/Degale case off, only beaten one world class fighter and he ended that fight unconscious"
Zurdo "Totally unproven, one decent win over a shot Abraham"

These guys are Boxrec warriors who only know about half a dozen fighters, don't understand the sport, its fighters or how it works and trawl Boxrec trying to find something to demean any Golovkin opponent based on.
Those are the exact comments that guys like Shockmaster would post.
