In his prime Golovkin stops Anthony Joshua, Tyson Fury, and Deontay Wilder in less than six rounds.

Stop talking this nonsens stuff. He beat Canelo on points, everyone knows that. It was a tight fight but he won.

BJS and Jacobs are the toughest fights for GGG at 160. Styles make fights.

Jury is still out on Charlo.

BJS would get beaten to a pulp by Golovkin. BJ Saunders doesn't have the punch nor the timing to trouble a fighter like Golovkin.

He did not win, it was a draw.

Secondly, judging a boxing match isn't as easy as you like to think, hence the reason for three judges. Canelo clearly won rounds 1-3 and 10-12. I also had Canelo winning the 4th round. My method of scoring is the 10 point must. The 10 point must scoring system is the one used in pro fighting, not used in the amateurs.

The 10 pt system requires you to score for clean punching, defense, ring generalship and effective aggression. Unlike the amateurs, a jab is not scored the same as a power punch that lands cleanly. Using this method of scoring, you Canelo wins this fight. I have no quarrels with anyone scoring it a draw or even scoring it for Golovkin, this is boxing, its subjective.

I just don't see it. Watching the Lemieux fight he looked very impressive, but I went back and watched his fights with Andy Lee, CEJ, and Monroe and I don't see how he would escape Golovkin's offense. I also understand that Lemieux is a very limited fighter, a one trick pony, the epitome of a one dimensional fighter.

    Arguably bro, arguably.

The official score was a "draw".

why not? shot featherfisted cw Cunningham almost stopped fury. he was giving him a boxing lesson, until huggy fury's laying on him wore him out.

Saunders has looked like crap against subpar competition.

The same Charlo that went life and death with Vanes Martirosyan? Please, GGG will destroy Charlo (Either of them)

Exactly and as Vanes mentioned Charlo's power was nothing compared to what he felt from Golovkin's punches(all of them were the same, destructive)

to be fair it would be more interesting to know what GGG could do against his own wave of MWs, in the event he only fought 2 of the names there (stretching Lemmy to a MW name), when he really wasnt), and one of them was a LMW.

Thats what I'd want to know before putting him out to the new names, it would give me some yardstick against elites by which I could judge him against the new crop.

Come to think of it, it would have been nice to know what he would do against the set of MWs previous to that, but the best we saw of them vs GGG was a bout with Geale and Matthew Macklin, so not much of a yardstick there either.
