Hows that? Who did Golovkin beat without controversy?

Who did he beat thats better than Gerald McClellan?

“David Lemieux is a bum, a bum – he's not worth talking about and I don't take any credit from beating him"

Thats what Saunders had to say about Golovkin's best performance.

Its like this - if you barely get past Jacobs and eat power shots all night , then its very likely you will get beaten by Benn and maybe even Watson too.

Golovkin is a very good fighter but Benn was very capable of giving him hell.

McClellan was a harder puncher than Golovkin and Eubank only won the first fight against Benn because he had
a granite chin and Benn hurt him multiple times in that fight.

Benns chin is not nearly as bad as it's made out to be, he was only stopped on accumulation after wars.

Canelo would have never traded punches with Benn like he did with Golovkin.

He took a fair old licking. Logan and Eubank too in the period showed his heart. He did show a bit of dog in the Collins fights, but by then I think is heart was not in the sport, he had nothing left.

McClellan was a more dangerous fighter than Golovkin, he was offensively extremely skilled, i agree with you that
Golovkin has better defense but it's not like he doesn't get hit.

McClellan was a monster, one of the most ferocious fighters and hardest punchers p4p ever, the guy was terrifying
back then, even more than Benn himself and that tells you a lot.

GGG and his Team have shown no interest or intention in fighting Charlo - another physical , explosive hitter - so why would anybody believe he'd fight or even beat Nigel Benn who was bigger and better than Charlo.

The 3 extra inches in reach to Benn is a serious issue for Golovkin since he is already at a speed disadvantage. And his two fights at a top level proves he isn't the same aggressor he is against the lower levellers so he is not going to swarm all over Benn to test his chin.

And Charlo is by no means comparable to McClellan and Benn, until Golovkin fights against a guy who can punch
harder than him and wins in a war, i give Benn the benefit of the doubt.

Benn - GGG is a better boxer than Ben. Add to that GGG has a granit chin.

Graham - He is an excellent boxer and this would be a difficult fight. However, my gut feeling is that GGG would catch him at some point.

Watson - I think GGG wins a decision. Watson is a very busy fighter so he would win some rounds early. However, I think GGG will be too strong for him down the stretch.

There's no evidence to prove he could handle Benn's punches. The footage shows he wouldn't walk through Canelo's punches and he hits like a wet noodle.

Benn has attributes to offset the skill discrepancy such as reach , size , power and speed.

Kell Brook lifted this guy off the canvas with an uppercut , literally. If you can get off on GG first you have a good chance of beating him.
This his why he couldn't beat Canelo and openly ducked guys like Sergiy Dervenchenko and Andrande.

Just imagine if Hearn would have thrown Kell Brook into the ring with Benn at 160 from 87-92, i think they would
have sued him for negligent homicide. Golovkin couldn't even really knock him out in 5 rounds.

Would be similar to what happened when Mike McCallum crossed the Atlantic. Benn would be the hardest but his best weight was really SMW. Golovokin 4 - 0.

I think they would all have been tough.

I also think that GG is overrated, and I say that as a fan of his.

Is that all you're going to answer with?

What about the numerous clips where he's been easy to hit?

    You can't say for certain.

He looks to have a great chin, but he's never faced a ferocious puncher like Benn, who had speed and power.

GG is pretty easy to hit.

He has a 70" reach, and little head movement.

He's been tagged clean numerous times. It's one of his biggest weaknesses.

What on earth are you talking about?

He used to throw one punch at a time?

    What??
