Golovkin vs Thomas Hearns

Love Hearns but at 160lb I would have to favour GGG. It would last longer than the Hagler fight maybe a late KO.
I would expect GGG to get stung a few times but would prevail.

 

Golovkin doesn't have Hearns' skill. Not even close, power might be close but skill wise Hearns could even outbox people like Ray Leonard. It is not even close.

I don't believe Hearns' chin stands up to Golovkin's power though.

 

Two of my favourite ever fighters, what a fight this would be while it lasted.

GGG hurts Tommy at some point and I'm not sure the Hitman survives.

 

GGG would take him out. GGG has a granite chin so I don't see what Hearns can do to him before succumbing to GGGs pressure and hard punches.

 

Would have to favor GGG here.

 

You know I'm not sure about this one.
At first I go with GGG but if we are talking about the Hearns that knocked out Shuler then Hearns.
GGG isn't going to deal with Hearns jab at all and Hearns had a monster jab.
