    I'm hearing the sound bites.
Interestingly, if the fight does get made at 168, I think GGG has a shot. I believe Ward has outgrown 168 regardless of what Hunter says. They realize that at 175 Wards days are numbered as he can get sparked out by the obscure wolverine looking Chechen named Beterbiev. Let alone his date with Sergey which I believe Ward can survive 12. Win or lose against Krusher he got the W in the first fight so if he lost the 2nd in a close battle he wouldn't be tarnished or lose stock.

If Ward is even slightly drained at 168 vs GGG that gives GGG a shot to score a KD or 2, which gives him a chance.

As for GGG power not carrying up to 168 based on the Jacobs fight, let's keep in mind DJ was over 180 while GGG at 170. For a Ward fight GGG will weigh in at 168 probably come in 178. Let's see his power at the higher weight.

Ward has no power to keep GGG off of him for 12 rounds. GGG's speciality is closing off the ring, pressuring his opponent until they can't breath. The only exceptions are fighters with power where he will adopt a more patient approach.

Ward would win a decision against the GGG that fought Jacobs, but we know ggg wouldn't need to be wary of any of Ward's punches so we'd see him go forward aggressively until he smothered him.

I would be rooting hard for Golovkin and give him a decent shot but Ward would have to be favoured. I want this fight more than any other and like all the recent chatter about the possibility.

    Ward U.D. :(

I'm sure Ward would come in as 3-1 favorite per the bookies. That would be very interesting as Golovkin would be the known underdog. Would he change his game plan? Would he come in like a madman trying to take Ward out in the first 6 rounds?

I'd love to see it, if Ward could hang against the onslaught

I really hope you aren't serious. I GGG is to small for Ward and doesn't have the right skills.

I think it would be epic, favor Ward. A nice round robin with Kov would be icing on the cake.

Ward would push G back, he is the larger, physically stronger man. He outwrestled and pushed back and bullied froch. It would be G that would be smothered and ward would grapple and wrestle him, shut him down but land his stuff inside and win a UD.

TBH i think ward would dominate. He has the quicker jabs and great defense so G wouldnt get anything done on the outside or even midrange. G's power is nothing compared to Kovalev. I really think Ward is stylistic poison to GGG

Ward. We all saw what Jacobs who is not known for being slick at all could at times outbox G from the SP position. The G fans are banking on his power and landing the perfect shot. If the bigger Kov couldn't do it, the littler G can't and won't.

Also we all saw G is susceptible to the body. Ward regardless of how many of you want to play dumb snatched up Kovs body. Ward like Ricky Hatton (I know some of you didn't have a problem how he fought guys while he was dominant in his hay day) will be all over G like flies to ****. G cant fight backwards and Ward can adapt better than anyone G has ever fought.

G is out of his element. K2 like before will avoid Ward like the plague because that is exactly what Ward is. If they do fight which I doubt. It will be a 10-2 fight in Wards favor and you stupid loyal fanboys will give excuse after excuse while you ship rats will right him off then jump on the next hype train.

G fans don't want this fight. Never did.

The way G fans and G himself salivate at a Canelo fight is the way us Ward fans and Ward himself salivate over a G fight. G gets exposed beyond measure. He's not a real great.

Not this size theory theory garbage. GGG is not Carl Froch they are completely different. Froch fights in small spurts and then works off the jab and is not what I'd consider a pure pressure fighter.

GGG is not going to get bullied, jacobs was twice the size of GGG and still didn't get the better of ggg in physical tie ups. Ward would not be able to swallow the power shots landing on his chin, his flexes are slowing down considerably, if you haven't noticed. He's become much easier to hit, we saw it in the Berrera fight and then kovalev knocking him down with a counter.

Do you really being Physically bigger will protect Ward's jaw? If the fight happened, Ward is getting done, hard.

I was referring to froch because pushing him back was a display of physical strength by ward. GGG doesnt fight at all when being pushed back and he waits to take his turn. When his opponent punches he covers up and waits for his opponent to finish to respond he doesnt counter. so whats going to happen is ward is going to get his stuff off and then put himself in a position where he cant get hit back, he will either turn him or tie him up/fight on the inside. It will be like this the entire fight. Ward will use the blueprint holyfield used against tyson. Step inside the power, push the man on the back foot and counter single shots without getting into exchanges.
GGG is not going to win against ward. Kovalev has a good shot to win the rematch

Kovalev did do it, that is why Ward found himself flat on the canvas in the second round.

Ward had some success to the body, but yet he still lost so I don't really get why you are clamouring home this point.
Ward showed his vulnerabilities and showed his defensive reflexes are betraying him which GGG would have a field day exploiting.

You know it, Ward knows itand Hunter knows it.

Your boy would get done, smashed, hard.

Ward is sylistic poison to anyone he has a size/strength edge on. (& plenty he doesn't)
I think you are dismissing the chances GGG has here even if what you said rings true, Golovkin has edge in power and chin and I get the feeling he has Ward level toughness(even though he has never had to prove it, really)

It also has to be mentioned that Ward fouls A LOT in his fights and if a strict referee was in there he would be handicapped.
